This week feels like it's on fast forward because it's so out of the ordinary and I'm trying to accomplish so much. I pulled the trigger on the office / craft space redo and I'm completely entrenched in demolishing and painting. My little brother came over yesterday and tore out the old built in desk and it's amazing how much getting rid of that massive block of wood opened up the room. That in combination with the primed walls - it's incredibly light and airy and I couldn't be more excited! Look what we found behind the desk...
There was just the tiniest bit of this pretty paper, isn't it sweet? I wish there had been more - I would have tried to keep it. But since there was so little I took a quick picture before priming.
Since the room is going to be mostly white / off white I want to do one accent wall but I'm really torn between two different wall papers. I have this adorable vintage paper that I've been saving for something special...
Or... Well, I'm thinking about doing something rash and ordering a roll of this... This is my husbands favorite. What do you guys think?
ooooh. I'm drawn to the vintage floral.
ReplyDeleteThat looks like my childhood bedroom wallpaper! Memories .....
ReplyDeleteI'd have to go with the vintage but I guess I'm biased.
well, you know how I feel about Orla...:-) and I love that one, even tho my horrible hubby wouldn't let me have it. I love the vintage one too, but I think I'd go with Orla...never tire of Orla. As for finding your little gem...what a buzz...we found a tiny patch when we renovated earlier in the year...again not enough to keep, sadly
ReplyDeleteOh, that is a tough call. I love the vintage flowers, but Orla - you could never ever go wrong with Orla.
ReplyDeleteohh they are both SO pretty!! that is a really tough choice! i think i'd go with the second one though. i just love it!
ReplyDeleteI like the vintage floral. Love the brightness and think it has more "personality".
ReplyDeleteoh man kayanna!! touch choice, love the vintage wallpaper and i love orla! you can't go wrong with either!
ReplyDeletei vote floral :)
ReplyDeleteFloral! I'd have to say that you can indeed get tired of Orla ;) But what about stripes of both? They match quite nicely!
ReplyDeleteI love the vintage floral...such cool colors!
ReplyDeleteI like the vintage paper as well. It looks like circa 1968 or so!
ReplyDeleteIsn't it fun, creating a new space? Can't wait to see the results!
ooh i vote the vintage floral paper (SO CUTE!) because.. and i may get run our of designer-town for this, but - i'm kinda over orla's stem print *hides*
ReplyDeletecontroversial! haaha
